D'Alessandro Vineyard works in the wine sector from the beginning of 1900 thanks to the activity of the grandfather Natalino D'Alessandro who sold the wine obtained from his vineyards on the local market.
The most important development was realised on 1953 when the son Giovanni decided to enlarge his father's activity creating a new establishment where he continued to transform the grapes and to produce wines to sell in the local market.
The activity developed more and more so that his owns grapes were no more sufficent to satisfy the request of wine and Giovanni D'Alessandro began to buy grapes from other producers.
In the 1981 the actual entrepreneur, Natalino D'Alessandro, Giovanni's son, became the sole owner of the wine cellar and developed his activity so that D'Alessandro wine cellar was considered a focus among all wine producers in the South and Middle Italy.
In the 1997, due to the big trasformations of the wine market, Natalino D'Alessandro decided to start to bottle his production and he continued till 2002 when he realised his first complete brand of wines.
The different wine bottles are connected all toghether thanks to a deep link to the land.
At the moment the wine cellar is developing its 26 vineyards, that will be added to the 24 already in production, privileging above all the autochthounos vines of our region, primitivo, negroamaro, uva di troia, verdesca, black malvasia, pink fiano and white malvasia.
